BIOGRAPHY

Francesca De Bartolo, aka Mistral, was born in Calabria.

Her passion and aptitude for art led her to further her artistic studies, from a Bachelor's Degree in Painting to a Master's Degree in Monumental Sculpture. She qualified to teach Visual Arts in Painting and Art History in Rome.

His creativity and professional maturity, now spanning thirty years, encompass various artistic expressions: from drawing to sculpture, with references to a classical taste combined with the contemporary.

Since 1997 he has held solo exhibitions and taken part in group exhibitions in Italy and abroad.

A secondary school teacher, she founded an artistic and cultural association: her private school was born, where children and adults are trained and introduced to the arts.

Art critics and trade magazines have taken an interest in his work with essays and notes.

Solo exhibitions include: 'Caput Mundi' presented by renowned critic Vittorio Sgarbi at the La Tartaruga art gallery on Via Sistina in Rome; and a solo exhibition at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute presented by the Bulgarian Ambassador to Rome.

Numerous of his works are in various public and private collections, such as the 'Holy Trinity' commissioned for the Cathedral of the Marsi in Avezzano.

Today he lives and works in Rome.
